Growing up in in Tucson, Arizona, land of rattlesnakes and rodeos, I always wanted to be a writer. I earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Haverford College in Philadelphia before heading back West to the University of Southern California for a master’s degree in journalism.

From there I became a feature writer and reporter for the Los Angeles Times, and then feature editor for Teen Magazine (if you need flirting advice, I’m the go-to). Following my soon-to-be husband back East, I began working as an advertorial writer for The New York Times—a gig that continues today. Over the years, my skills and expertise have evolved to meet the digital needs of my growing roster of clients, which includes CNN.com, Wall Street Journal Custom Publishing, Travel + Leisure, the LA Times, Food & Wine, USA Network, and businesses both large and small.
